![]() The story is just a small romance with nothing really exciting going on at all, ever. In this book Jarret has been given the family brewery to bring back from the brink of, not doing so well? But all you hear about is the fact that the female lead in the book needs to try and say her families brewery.I gave it three stars because I did like the characters. OK so yes they have to find their spouse and marry but that's it. Again as I said with her first book in this series there is not much drama in the plot. When they team up to investigate the mystery behind her parents deaths, their fake betrothal leads to red-hot desire. Anyway, to get away from the rights and wrong of the "problem", the story itself is an OK romance. You see the grandmother as this matriarch of the family that is trying to now rein in her grandchildren but to force them to marry? Well, it is a romance so. ![]() As far as a plot hitch, this one is very weak. The Grandmother has put an ultimatum on the five siblings that they must all marry within one year or all of them will lose their inheritence. So now, this is book 2 of the Hellions of Halstead Hall which follows the second sibling, Lord Jarret Sharpe. ![]() ![]() Having been selected to recieve this book from the First Reads contest I must say the book arrived very quickly and I was able to start on it. ![]()
